Yource B.V. is the new owner of EUclaim: Frequently Asked Questions

The answers below cover what changes for your claim now that Yource handles it, and what does not.

What happened with EUclaim, does the company still exist?
EUclaim went bankrupt in August 2026 and has now been taken over by the Dutch company Yource B.V., known for their websites Flight-Delayed.com, Vlucht-Vertraagd.nl, and others. Yource has over 15 years of experience in claiming EU flight compensation for millions of passengers across Europe and is based in Amsterdam.
I have an ongoing claim with EUclaim, what do I need to do?
Your claim will proceed and you will retain the exact same rights under the EU Regulation. You will be asked to provide a digital signature, confirming that you agree to Yource B.V. handling your claim moving forward. If you haven’t received it yet, watch out for an e-mail from us in the next few weeks.
What will I be signing?
You will be signing Yource’s Terms and Conditions, as well as a new Power of Attorney, allowing Yource to represent you in front of the airline. This is a requirement under Dutch law and agreed upon with the trustee (curator) who was officially appointed to oversee the transfer of rights from EUclaim to Yource.
Why is my signature necessary?
Due to GDPR and other privacy-related regulations, we won’t be able to continue your claim without your signature. This then allows Yource to proceed with your claim and claim your compensation, for the same fee you agreed upon with EUclaim.
What if I don’t provide the digital signature?
Your claim will not be processed further and will ultimately be autocancelled when it expires. It is therefore important you grant your permission for Yource to continue so your compensation can be claimed and there is no unnecessary delay in further processing your claim.
There are other passengers on my claim. What if they don’t provide their digital signature?
In order for your claim to continue, we will require the permission and signature of all passengers included on your claim. If your co-passengers are unable to sign, please contact us at customercare@euclaim.nl (remember to mention your claim number).
I am experiencing technical difficulties with the page where I should place my signature or notice incorrect personal information there. What should I do?
Please contact us at customercare@euclaim.nl (remember to mention your claim number).
My claim is already in the legal stage, what will happen now?
As soon as you sign and agree to your claim being taken over by Yource, we will proceed with all necessary steps, including securing the fast processing of your claim in court and securing your compensation. We will also liaise with external lawyers abroad that may be handling your case on behalf of EUclaim. Yource has experience with handling compensation claims across courts in Europe, both in-house and via similar external lawyers.
Does the fee for my claim change?
The fee remains the same as it was when you initially submitted your claim with EUclaim.
What will happen with my account, online dossier and provided documents?
All your information and documents will be transferred to Yource as soon as you sign and agree with us continuing with your claim. Your old EUclaim account will not be available anymore, but you will be informed as soon as possible how you can log in to your new account.
The airline informed me that my money has recently been sent to EUclaim. When will I get it?
Because of the transition of ownership to Yource, it may take a few weeks before we will get access to the money and be able to send it to you. Rest assured, however, that you will ultimately receive the awarded compensation.
What should I do if I am contacted by the airline?
If the airline contacts you with a response to your claim or any news regarding a payment, please make sure to forward it to customercare@euclaim.nl before responding to the airline, as a response can have legal consequences for your claim. Our team will help you determine the best course of action.
I want to add a document to my dossier or add information to my claim, what should I do?
Please contact us at customercare@euclaim.nl (remember to mention your claim number).
Why have I received multiple emails asking me to sign?
If you have more than one pending claim with EUclaim, you will need to sign for each claim in order for Yource to continue.
I submitted my claim via Consumentenbond. What happens with it?
The same rules apply to claims submitted via Consumentenbond: you will be asked to provide a digital signature, confirming that you agree to Yource B.V. handling your claim moving forward. Watch out for an e-mail from us in the next few weeks.
I have a different question
Please reach out to us on customercare@euclaim.nl.
Please be aware that it might take us a little while to get back to you. Do not send multiple emails concerning the same subject as this might lead to longer waiting times for a reply.
